Ernie's Blog

Ernie here. Right now we’re sitting at the airport waiting for our flight. We didn’t wake up until like 9:30 this morning, which was great after a late night of disco and swimming. We got the breakfast buffet and were pleasantly surprised to see a man dressed up as a yellow salamander walk in the restaurant. We all took pictures with him and then left to go pack our bags. I’m in a room with Garrett Cannell and John Blackwell, and our room smelled like hot trash. Whether it was sweaty clothes or a dead animal in the vents, we were happy to get our stuff out of there. We got one last round of Pina Coladas(sin alcohol) and then took our stuff to the lobby. The van picked us up and we got to the airport very quickly(the drivers here are way hard core). We ate lunch at Wendy’s, which was far from the Ceviche I had for lunch every day this week. So now we’re here at the airport, so I guess the whole Honduras part is over. Ummm.... John just ate a Tic Tac off of the airport floor, Andrew and Sarah are dancing to some random song, and my Mp3 player is almost out of batteries. Other than that, nothing too eventful is happening. We’re relaxed, restless, and totally pumped about going out and doing God’s work. We have about another hour until the flight, so I doubt anything worth blogging about will happen in the next hour. If it does, I’ll get back to you. We still have another week out of the country, so please eat a Chipotle burrito for me.
