Today was a good day.
After going to bed late last night, we all decided to sleep in a little. Well everyone except for Julia and Anna. For some reason they both moved their time ahead 2 hours...and rather than meeting the group for breakfast at 9:00am, they were waiting for us a 7:00am.
We had a nice little breakfast at one of the restaurants within the resort.
After breakfast we all went off into different directions. Garret, Ernie and John went and played golf at some local 9 hole course (it's part of our all inclusive package). They each had a little caddy to help them out.
The rest of us went down to the beach to hang out and swim. A little girl named Saula came and "braided" Julia and Sarah's hair. And by "braiding," I mean twisting the hair and tying it in knots. She took out some of Julia's hair during the process.
After the beach, we all went over to the hotel pool for some drinks and water volleyball. Lunchtime soon rolled around and we all got our grub on around 2:00.The rest of the afternoon consisted for lounging around and reading.
Around 7:30 we all met in one of the rooms for a time of group worship. Ernie, Garrett and John shared a little bit about the Doctrine of Grace. (Every night, each room will give a little devotional). We also sang some songs and shared a little bit about people we met today. Finally, we finished off with some prayer.Tomorrow we are going on a little day trip. We'll tell you more about it when we get back.
